Lime Chicken, Quick And Wine

On my last trip overseas, I spent a week in Dublin. I spent a lot of time walking through the city and along the banks of the River Liffey, perusing the collections of rare and antique books at famous libraries, and taking in great museum exhibits. But all that walking and intellectual stimulation caused me to work up quite an appetite, and I ate very well at a number of fantastic restaurants. One of my favorites was the trendy Bull & Castle Gastro Pub, located a stone's throw away from Christchurch Cathedral.

Start cooking by adding around 2 tbsp of vegetable oil onto the bottom of the cooker. Once hot, saute the onion and garlic and start browning the beef. Once it is brown on both sides, add the liquid (easy beef stew stock and tomato sauce) and the cover securely with the lid. Once you hear the cooker sizzle or if the indicator valve says the pressure is build up already, set your timer to 20 minutes.



Now that your meat has been cooking and is good and tender it is time to add the veggies.Microwave the cut up carrots for about 10 minutes to start the cooking process. Then we have the feeding issue. Everyone has to eat, don't they? Even us bears! She's always cooking this and that, and some of the oddest things too. I think it's yucky and she LOVES it. Yuck! But she does make some great salads with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, green onions, cheeses and great dressings. Doesn't that sound good? Yeah, sometimes she does something right. But I gotta admit... I do eat good too. She's a great cook, most of the time.

When I first started using the cooker, I was amazed at how many recipes, meals and even desserts I could make with little to no time. Since my life is so full of activity, running around and keeping the house in order, I welcome anything that makes life easier and saves me time in the kitchen. If I can stay away from the oven, stove and dishwasher, life automatically becomes a whole lot more enjoyable.

The simple beef stew paleo casual, clean, and inviting, and our service was great. After walking all over Dublin, our experience at the Bull & Castle was a wonderful way to relax and unwind for a few hours.

Food Review: Campbell's Chunky Chili With Beans Grilled Steak
